Fill out our form to request bids, and we’ll send bids from all roofers in the project area in an average of 40 minutes (can be rushed as fast as 10 minutes if needed). Bids will be accurate as long as we have the correct data about plywood and layers. Roofers in the platform see what each other are charging and compete to get you the best deal

We help you close more deals

You can either hire the roofer as a sub or have the homeowner sign the roofer’s bid to move the project forward.

We take care of project management

Roofers will be run through the project management process to make sure all your requirements are met. Our project managers will help push the roofers through the process, and will serve as your point of contact. Our default milestones include (but are not limited to):

  • Roofer site visit (if needed, some solar companies provide info so the roofer doesn’t have to do a site visit
  • approval for roof install (we make sure the roofer doesn’t install early and have to wait for payment!)
  • install confirmed complete (we provide pictures and proof of permit)

All milestones can be API’d into your system. We are very flexible (if you’ve got different requirements in your process, we’ve probably worked with a solar company that has had the same requirements)

We take care of the labor that goes into getting roofers vetted and collecting their docs

    • Bond Confirmation (if the state requires bonding)
    • Make sure there are no red flags on consumer review platforms
    • Make sure there are no and that google searches don’t turn up any legal issues or bad press

Upon first job

    • Add solar company as addtl insured
    • sub agreement with solar company (we can also get this done for everyone bid out)
  • We can API the vetting data records into your database, and take care of verification for any roofers you need. If a homeowner, rep, or dealer wants to use their own roofer we can take care of collecting the verification data

Selecting and Signing Bids

Once you’ve received the comparison, you can select the best contract for your project. Compare price, install timelines, years in business, etc. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions or ask us for a recommendation! Once you’ve selected your bid, you can hit view bid to see the detailed scope of work, send the contract for signature, or if you’re in the home you can help the homeowner sign it on the spot!

Project Management

Once a contract is signed, we step in to help coordinate the project management. We have a portal that gives you visibility into key milestones while giving you a singular point of access to keep tabs on multiple projects with multiple roofers. We act as the concierge here, so you can call us and we’ll stay on top of all the roofers and projects in your pipeline.

Fee Structure and Payments

We add 7% margin to the roofer’s wholesale cost as our quoting and project management fee that the roofer pays us on completion after solar has been completed and their payment collected. By default bids include a $500 referral fee (which can be customized) that will be paid to the solar rep who requested the bid, and installers and dealerships can set their markups. These deals can be financed by including the roof as an adder on the solar project. When project is completed the installer will pay the roofer (minus their fee), roofer will pay us, and we will pay the rep the referral fee.

White Labeling

If you have the licensure to include the contract under your own entity we have a separate process to roll contracts out under your company and use us to manage the sub contractor network and project management.
